A phone plan looks like a list of numbers: gigabytes, minutes, a price. But behind every line is a story. It might be a phone number someone has had for a decade, a teenager getting a first phone, a parent who wants to stay reachable without paying for more than they need, or a traveler who needs a backup line. Over four years, those stories have shaped Infimobile.
As we celebrate our fourth anniversary, we want to say thank you, look at the connections that matter most to our customers, and make sure you have accurate information about how Infimobile works today. One clear note first: there are no new anniversary-only offers. We’re extending our current promotional offers through November 6, 2026, in honor of the milestone.

A Clear Note About Our Offers
To avoid any confusion: we’re not launching a special anniversary promotion. Our current promotional offers are being extended through November 6, 2026 because of our anniversary. Eligibility, plan options, and pricing stay as listed for each current offer, so confirm the details for the plan you want at infimobile.com/plans and at checkout.
The Story Starts With Your Number
For most people, a phone number is more than a string of digits. It’s tied to banking logins, verification codes, doctors’ offices, family group chats, and years of contacts. It’s also the biggest reason people stay with a carrier long after they’ve stopped being happy with it.
That’s why porting, bringing your existing number to a new provider, has always been central to how Infimobile works. Federal rules let you keep your number when you change providers in the same area, and Infimobile makes it part of signup: choose Port In, enter your current carrier’s account number and transfer PIN, and we work with your old provider to move the number.
A few things make it smoother:
- Gather the details first. You’ll need your phone number, account number, transfer PIN, and the account holder’s name and billing ZIP code, exactly as they appear on your current account.
- Turn off any number lock your current carrier has applied, since features like Number Lock or Port Out Protection can block a transfer.
- Keep your old line active until the port completes. Canceling first can put your number at risk.
- Expect a short wait. Most ports finish within a few hours to about 24 hours, with 48 hours a reasonable outside estimate.
In our recent internal survey and analysis covering the last three months, port-ins rose 60%. We take that as a sign that more people are choosing to bring their numbers, and their stories, with them.
The Story of Your Phone
The second thing people worry about is their device. Photos, apps, messages, and habits all live on that phone, and replacing it just to change carriers feels like a bad trade.
You may not have to. Infimobile supports bring-your-own-phone, as long as your device is unlocked and compatible. We ask that phones support 5G or 4G LTE and VoLTE. To check yours, dial *#06# to find your IMEI number, then enter it in the compatibility checker at infimobile.com/compatible.
A few practical notes:
- Unlocking rules vary by carrier, and they have changed recently, so check your current carrier’s policy and your device’s status.
- SIM or eSIM. Most plans include a 3-in-1 SIM kit that covers standard, micro, and nano sizes, and eSIM is available where your phone supports it. Some newer iPhones sold in the U.S. have no SIM tray and require an eSIM.
- Not every device is supported. SIM-enabled smartwatches, iPads, and standalone routers aren’t currently supported.
The Story of Your Network
Infimobile doesn’t build its own towers. As a mobile virtual network operator, we lease access to major networks and sell service under our own brand. Our service runs on Verizon and T-Mobile, with network availability varying by plan. That means your coverage at any address is the coverage of the network you’re on at that address.
This is why checking coverage matters more than any marketing term. We recommend three steps:
- Use our coverage and compatibility checker to see what to expect where you live and work.
- Cross-check the host network’s public map for your ZIP code.
- Try before you commit. Our trial port-in option in the account portal lets you test service on a temporary number before you move your real one.
A few honest expectations come with the MVNO model. Data can occasionally be slowed during heavy network congestion, which is standard across the prepaid industry. And after you use your plan’s high-speed data, speeds are reduced for the rest of the monthly cycle instead of you being charged overage fees.
The Story of Your Household
Some of the most important connections aren’t one line, but several: a partner, a teenager, a parent, or a secondary number for work. Managing them all under one account can be simpler than juggling separate providers.
Infimobile also offers a Family Plan, which we’ve described as starting at about $4.10 per month per line, with the per-line cost dropping as you add lines. Check the plans page for current details, since offers and pricing can change.
It also helps to match each person to the right plan. A student on campus Wi-Fi may need far less data than a commuter who streams on the train, and there’s no reason to pay for more than each person uses. Each line keeps its own plan, data allowance, and renewal date, so it’s worth putting key dates on a shared calendar.
The Story of Your Year
Our plans are built around annual prepaid pricing. You pay once for a term, often 12 months, and the effective monthly cost drops as a result. There are no contracts, early termination fees, or renewal penalties, and when your term ends, you choose whether to renew. Many plans are available in terms from 3 months up to 36 months.
In our recent survey and analysis, about 90% of customers were buying annual plans. We read that as a sign of confidence: when most people choose to commit for a year, they’re telling us they expect the service to be there.
Here are our 12-month plans as listed at the time of writing:
| 500MB Deal Buster | $30 | $2.50 | 100 minutes and 100 texts |
| 5GB Pro Plus | $75 | $6.25 | 2,500 minutes and texts |
| 10GB Unlimited | $75 | $6.25 | Unlimited talk and text |
| 12GB | $90 | $7.50 | Unlimited talk and text |
| 20GB Premium | $120 | $10.00 | Unlimited talk and text |
| Freedom Unlimited | $150 | $12.50 | Unlimited data, speeds reduced after 40GB |
Prices and promotions change, so confirm current details at infimobile.com/plans. Because plans are non-refundable, choose the size that fits before you buy.
Illustrative Stories: Which Plan Fits Which Life?
The scenarios below are illustrative examples, not testimonials from specific customers. They show how different usage patterns can map to different plans.
The campus commuter. She’s on campus Wi-Fi most of the day and uses cellular for maps, messages, and music on the bus. The 10GB Unlimited plan at $75 for 12 months, about $6.25 a month, gives her room to spare and unlimited talk and text.
The backup line. He keeps a second number for verification texts and the occasional call. The 500MB Deal Buster at $30 for 12 months keeps the cost minimal, as long as 100 minutes and 100 texts are enough.
The everyday streamer. He watches video and listens to music on his commute without Wi-Fi nearby. A larger tier such as the 20GB Premium plan at $120 for 12 months, about $10 a month, covers regular streaming and navigation.
The remote worker. She works from cafes and travels often, and needs to share her connection with a laptop. Freedom Unlimited, listed at $150 for 12 months, offers unlimited data, speeds reduced after 40GB, and a free 10GB monthly hotspot, according to the plan’s published details.
The long-term planner. He knows he’ll stay for two years and wants to lock in a low rate. A 24-month offer, such as the 20GB plan at $192 for 24 months, brings the effective monthly cost to $8.
The Story of Staying Connected
A good story keeps going after the first chapter. Once you’re set up, a few tools help you stay in control of your service:
- The Infimobile app lets you shop plans, check your balance, track usage, make quick recharges, change or renew your plan, and enroll in auto-renewal.
- Wi-Fi calling and texting are included on our plans and help in places where cellular signal is weak, such as thick-walled buildings and basements.
- Renewal reminders on your own calendar. Prepaid plans end on a set date, so note yours and renew or switch before it arrives. Letting a line lapse can put your number at risk, and we encourage you to contact support if you have questions about your specific line.
- Support when you need it. Our team can help with activation, porting, and plan questions.
What Customers Tell Us
When we look at customer reviews and feedback, two themes come up most often: better price and good coverage. They’re also the two things that tend to decide whether a switch lasts. Price gets people to consider us, and coverage helps them stay.
Our recent analysis points in the same direction: fewer than 3% of customers ported out, and new subscribers grew 50% over the same three-month period. These figures come from our own internal data, not an independent audit, so we share them as a snapshot of what we’re seeing, not a promise about any one customer’s experience.
How Our Plans Have Evolved
Our lineup keeps changing as we listen to customers. A few recent examples:
- Earlier this year, our 5GB annual plan was promoted at $49, and it’s now listed at $75 for 12 months.
- In July 2026, we announced Freedom Unlimited at $175 for 12 months. It’s now listed at $150, with additional 24-month and 36-month offer prices.
- In October 2026, we introduced a 12GB plan at $90 for 12 months.
- On October 24, 2026, we launched a 20GB High-Speed Data Plan at $192 for 24 months.
Because pricing moves, we encourage you to check the plans page rather than relying on an older price you saw months ago.
Current Offers, Extended Through November 6
Our extension through November 6, 2026 applies to our current promotional offers. Here are two of the multi-year offers published on the Infimobile blog at the time of writing:
| 20GB High-Speed Data Plan | 24 months | $192 | $8.00 |
| Freedom Unlimited | 24 months or 36 months | $275 or $425 | About $11.46 or $11.81 |
Offer details can differ by plan, so confirm which offer applies to the plan you want at checkout. Taxes may be additional, and longer terms mean paying more upfront and are non-refundable.
